This is a scan on a flat bed scanner. I really like how the light is really shallow.

B&W yet again.

And I think I have gone crazy with the black and whites. I've been playing around with a couple new programs and I really like what I am getting. I haven't really ever been a fan of black and white photos. I guess because I felt that we move forward for a reason. But in playing around with these photos in the past few days I think I am changing my opinions about what is good and what is gimmicky. Anyway, I think this is the most I have written to no one, on here so far.

Around the Office

These are some photos I took around the office. I was mostly just playing but I kinda like some of these.

I found a couple of photos I took during the ice storm we had this past winter. I played with them a little and thought I'd show them to you. I hope you like them.

I'll try not to wait so long between posts in the future. (yeah right)

The Group

We have a really great group. I couldn't imagine a world where we didn't find each other. But by no means is this all of us. Maybe I'll find other photos that include the others. :-)

From the Top

This was one of my favorite days as an ASU employee. I was able to get on top of the Convocation Center and take this photo of the Fowler Center. The whole thing was a fun experience.

Through Suzannah's Eyes

A while back I was able to spend a a little time with my niece. She is 6 years old and her name is Suzannah. I had my little point and shoot camera in my pocket so I decided to let her play with it. She really seemed to have fun with it. Anyway, these are a just three of the photos that she took. I think I have a future assistant. :) Have a good day.

Engineering Photos

These are a couple of Engineering students that we photographed for some new materials we were designing for Engineering. This was one of the first official ASU photo shoots where I was able to set up some strobes and really concentrate on the lighting. I really had fun with these. The models were fun to work with and the location was interesting.

Library two

I am typing this on my ipod touch. Yeah i know that is a lame thing to say but i am. Anyway, this is another photo that i took the same day as the first library photo. It is also an HDR. I don't like it as much as the other photo but i do like the sun flare.

ASU Library

For the longest time I have wanted to take a photo of the ASU Library that made you feel like you do when you walk under it. (By the way, when I walk under it, it seems rather large and ominous to me.) So one day I was able to spend some time taking photos of it and I made this photo. I think it represents the largeness of the library as well as a photo can. Anyway, I also applied an HDR photo effect to it and I like how it turned out.

It was an ASU Christmas

Here are a couple photos I was able to take around Christmas. My coworkers over in University Advancement set up this beautiful tree and asked me to take some photos of it for some publications. These are my two favorites. Hope you enjoy.
